Today Clark had his 15-month checkup. I was excited to see how much he has grown! He also got two vaccines (MMR and chicken pox) and his iron was tested. He is no longer "slightly anemic" so we can officially stop giving him iron! (I think we officially stopped doing that a couple months ago...oops.) Usually when we go to the doctor, Clark cries when the doctor examines him, but then stops and starts babbling. Not this time! He cried when I talked to the receptionist, cried when the nursed walked in the room, cried the entire time the doctor was in the room, cried when the nurse came back and gave him shots, and cried right out the door!! His eyes and nose were so red when we left! So much crying! The doctor and I could hardly hear each other. We actually started laughing at one point because each of us had to keep saying, "what? what?" Haha Anyway, here are his stats:
Weight: 23 pounds, 8 ounces (35th percentile)
Height: 31 and 3/4 inches (70th percentile)
Head Circumference: 18 and 3/4 inches (70th percentile)
The doctor was not concerned about his lack of vocabulary, and he said he should start walking in the next month or so. Because he climbs stairs, walks along furniture, and climbs furniture, he probably doesn't have weak legs or anything, it's just that he doesn't feel like walking. The doctor said if Clark doesn't start walking by October, and we're really concerned, we can have a therapist come to our house.

It doesn't seem like he's crying when he's playing with that toy! I think Clark is trying to beat Pop's record of walking at 17 months. Enjoy it while you can, after walking comes running and Haley loves to run away from me, she thinks it is hilarious.
