Corinne also came home this week! We were so excited to see her again after sooo long!!! She's getting married in August and we can hardly wait!!

Anyway, back to Pops. We had a birthday dinner for him on July 12th. It was wonderful to be together celebrating an amazing Dad! I am so happy that God has blessed me with a Dad like him!

Uncle Caleb painted Pops a picture for his birthday (it was a commissioned painting, with many details that Pops requested. Very cool!):

On Saturday, July 13th, we (sort of) surprised Corinne with a wedding shower! Aunt Katelyn flew in for the shower! We had a wonderful time together! It made all of us super excited for her wedding!! And it made us excited for Daniel to get here!

As you can see, the colors for the shower were black and white :)

Independence Day vacation in OCNJ!

We went down to Ocean City, NJ for the Independence Day holiday! It was a wonderful time of reconnecting with the Fenton side, and enjoying the sun and surf. Maya and Clark both slept well--Pop-pop likes to attribute that to the salt air! And I agree with him. There's something so relaxing about sleeping down at the shore. We had a great week enjoying the beach in the morning and napping in the afternoon. One evening we took Clark on some rides on the boardwalk. He was timid, to say the least! But he warmed up to it around the same time Maya started crying! Next time we'll start the evening earlier. Here are some pictures of our trip:

Maya turns Two months old!

Maya weighs 11 pounds, she's 22 inches long, and her head measures 15 1/8 inches. At her doctor appointment, Dr. Koehler said Maya is now officially thrush-free! That was a huge relief for Mommy!

She has slept 7 hours in a row, but doesn't do that every night. She loves cooing and sucking on her hands. And, at this point, she still has blue eyes! We can't imagine life without this bundle of joy!

At two months old, Clark weighed 11 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces, he was 23 1/2 inches long, and his head measured 16 inches. His longest stretch of sleep was 7 hours every night. He was starting to cry less and enjoy awake time more. And he was smiling a lot! Here are some pictures of him:

Breakfast with a baby sister:

On Saturday, June 29th, my cousin Luke got married to his gorgeous fiance, Marianne. He asked me to play the violin for the ceremony. It was a beautiful wedding! Pastor Jere Scott Bradshaw did a wonderful job, and it was his first wedding! After the ceremony, we took Maya to the reception in Gilbertsville. We got lost on the way there, but arrived in time for dinner. :) We left before the bride and groom, but we still got some dancing in there. Here's a picture of the princess:

On June 1st, Clark had his evaluation for Early Intervention. His speech has been very slow in coming, and he still only says about eight words. At this point, he should know 50. So we called up Early Intervention, which is completely free of charge, and a team came out to evaluate Clark. There were three women who came: the service coordinator, and two therapists. At the end of the evaluation, the ladies said he passed all tests except for speech. So I was happy to hear he passed in the other areas (physical, cognitive, etc.)! We will set up speech therapy for Clark, to start in the next two weeks and continue weekly until he is three years old.
